Wibwilcca Immortalized in Racing Hall of Fame

An Uptown Performance by Uptown Dannys Boy in Colorado

Aurora, Colorado – Uptown Dannys Boy is making his mark at Arapahoe Park. In his first start at the Colorado track on 22 May, the 4-year-old gray colt broke a 15-year-old track record for five furlongs. Uptown Sandy Girl Game Winner of the $41,500 HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies IFAHR Cup

A field of 10 Arabian fillies competed in the $41,500 HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship IFAHR Cup. The race featured an international group of female jockeys as has been the tradition of the annual event. It was Swedish rider, Tina Henrikkson, who guided Uptown Sandy Girl to a resounding six-length victory. The 4-year-old daughter of Burning Sand out of Wibwilcca, by Wilkolak is bred by Krista Hennningsgard and owned by her husband, Jon.  The couple, who live in Waller, Texas, had a large group of friends and family cheering on their talented filly. Texas Six Shooter - Uptown Flying Flynn

The third time was the charm for Uptown Flying Flynn, who became a stakes winner at Sam Houston Race Park in the Grade 3, $20,000 Texas-Six Shooter for Arabian colts and geldings. Texas Yellow Rose - Uptown Sandy Girl

A field of only three horses competed for the $20,000 purse guaranteed in the Texas Yellow Rose S. (Gr.3), for 4-year-old Arabian fillies, that took place on Monday, May 7th at Sam Houston Race Park. The second race of the day experienced three scratches prior to post time, leaving only Uptown Sandy Girl, Risky Vaz, and Aim N to compete for the Grade 3 Arabian title.
